This is a non-load-bearing track designed to be laid directly on the floor or screwed to a structure for raised installation. The finished heights possible with this type of structure are between 39 and 47mm.
Flat rails can also be used to fix external cladding, soffits, ceilings and internal cladding. It is the rail most commonly used for cladding. It can be used for surfaces up to 38 mm thick, including 20 mm boards. It is fixed directly to the surface to be covered.
