Case study: Piil, a Tiny House redefining nature getaways with the Grad® system

Piil, short for the Estonian word “piiluma”, meaning “to look”, is a unique retreat that adds a new dimension to nature getaways. Designed to blend in with its surroundings, this compact retreat of just 19 m² offers a breathtaking view thanks to its clever design, conceived to blend harmoniously among the trees.

Solutions implemented

Thermopine cladding: This natural, durable material gives the Tiny House a warm, rustic aesthetic, while blending in perfectly with the forest environment.
Decking in Thermoash: The decking extends the outdoor living space, allowing occupants to connect fully with nature, while benefiting from exceptional weather resistance.
Start Rail Grad® system: Used for both cladding and decking, this innovative system enables fast, precise installation, providing a neat finish with no visible screws. The process also simplifies maintenance, ensuring optimum durability.
