Project context

Situated in a wooded setting, this modern villa was designed to blend in perfectly with its natural surroundings while meeting exacting architectural criteria. The owner wanted a home that was both stylish and in keeping with the landscape, while using materials that were both noble and hard-wearing.

Design and environmental integration

The architecture of the villa reflects a desire for continuity between inside and outside. The large bay windows and U-shape of the structure maximise the amount of natural light, while offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding wooded garden. The primary aim was to create a house that, rather than standing out, would blend into its natural surroundings.

The choice of MOSO® bamboo for the exterior cladding played a central role in this integration. Its rich texture and warm hues echo the colours of the surrounding vegetation, allowing the villa to blend harmoniously into the landscape. The material also lends a contemporary feel, reinforcing the clean lines of the architecture while evoking the natural surroundings.

Grad® system: technical installation for a clean look

The Grad® system was selected to ensure precise installation of the cladding. This innovative fastening system allows quick and, above all, invisible installation, avoiding visible screws and ensuring impeccable aesthetics.

The aluminium rails, pre-fitted with clips, were fixed directly to the structure of the villa, making it easy to fit the boards while guaranteeing their perfect alignment and long-term stability. This process also allows better ventilation of the facades, contributing to the durability of the material.

This project embodies a successful fusion of architectural modernity and natural integration. Thanks to the Grad® fastening system, MOSO® bamboo cladding provides a clean, durable aesthetic that is in perfect harmony with the forest environment. The villa, which blends into its natural setting, reflects an approach to architecture in which every detail is designed to strengthen the link between man and nature.
