Built in 2008 in the centre of Strasbourg, the Miro footbridge links the Malraux media library to the Rivétoile centre. Specifically reserved for pedestrians or cyclists, it it was given a facelift in 2020 with the replacement of the old decking with bamboo fixed using our Grad® system over an area of 340 m². For this project, the major challenges were to find a structure capable of supporting a very high level of footfall while guaranteeing durability and stability over time.
The Grad® system perfectly fulfilled these different requirements. The ease and speed of implementation as well as materials to ensure an optimal lifespan were the ideal combination for the realisation of this project.
