Located in an exceptional natural setting, this project aimed to transform the surroundings of an infinity pool into a refined outdoor space, while respecting the architecture of a stone estate. The main objective was to create an elegant and functional terrace that harmonised with the rustic and authentic character of the stone building, while providing a modern and comfortable space for residents to relax.
Integrating a contemporary terrace into such a historic and naturally beautiful environment was a major challenge. It was essential to preserve the property’s traditional aesthetic while installing a structure that was durable and weather-resistant. In addition, the gently sloping ground required a stable and unobtrusive fixing solution that could withstand the variations in the ground and the loads of the terrace.
