Technical specifications

The Top Cube® is a fastening support designed to accommodate and hold finishing fascia boards at the periphery of the deck. It integrates directly into the Grad® system and allows for a clean junction between the structure and the finishing elements.

Its modular design allows for great flexibility of use. It can be used alone or stacked to adapt to the height of the deck or specific site constraints. This adaptability makes it an effective solution for both wooden decks and more technical configurations such as porcelain stoneware tiles.

Made of technical polymer, it offers good mechanical resistance and long-lasting durability. The system is delivered as a complete kit including the necessary fastening elements, ensuring quick and reliable implementation.

Instructions for use

Top Cubes clip very easily onto the rails - see compatibility below).

Once the Top Cubes are well positioned, secure them with a 6x100 screw provided in the kits.

*For a wood/composite fascia board finish, Top Cubes placed at the end of the rail must be correctly oriented to ensure proper installation.

Top Cubes have two marking arrows on their upper face. Depending on their orientation, the arrow located on the deck edge side must be positioned in alignment with the first clip.

This configuration ensures the correct placement of fascia board supports and wood/composite fascia boards, while maintaining adequate space between the deck boards and the peripheral finish.

Once your Top Cube is fixed and the deck height is well defined, you can raise or lower the pad (Top Screw).

Depending on the type of project, the pad is not mandatory. It is therefore possible to detach the Top Screw pad from the Top Cube.

For a porcelain stoneware finished deck with significant height, it is highly recommended to stack the Top Cubes on top of each other and to keep the pad of the last Top Cube.

Top Cube/rails compatibility

The Top Cube, essential for finishes

Whatever the type of finish chosen — wood/composite, aluminum fascia boards or porcelain stoneware — the Top Cube must be installed to ensure a clean and durable finish. For wood or composite finishes, Top Cubes allow the insertion of fascia board supports. In the case of aluminum fascia boards, these are directly fixed onto the Top Cubes. The same applies to the upper and lower rails intended for porcelain stoneware finishes, which are also fixed onto the Top Cubes. A truly indispensable element, the Top Cube guarantees careful implementation and an aesthetic finish, regardless of the chosen covering.
