Aluminum rails
Aluminum is a material of choice for our range of rails due to its exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Lightweight yet robust, it does not rust, rot, or require more than minimal maintenance. Finally, aluminum is recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
POM or Pyroclip clips
Our standard clips are made of POM (polyoxymethylene), a technical thermoplastic offering several interesting advantages, such as high strength and stiffness, good resistance to wear and impact, and good stability in humid environments.
Pyroclips are clips with the same mechanical characteristics as POM, but offer excellent thermal resistance. These clips can withstand very high temperatures, making them the perfect safety equipment for holding cladding in the event of a fire.
High-quality woods and composites
Selected for both their aesthetics and performance, the wood species and composites offered by Grad® are of high quality. Thanks to their treatments and regular maintenance, the wood of your decking boards will last over time, changing from its natural color upon installation to a warm gray over the months and years.
Recyclable
Aluminum is a material with exceptional recyclability; it retains its properties even after several recycling cycles, and it is easily collected, sorted, and re-melted.
As for plastics, they can be recycled through mechanical recycling processes (grinding, extrusion, etc.). Production scraps are often directly reintegrated into the production of new parts (clips, Top Cube, Top Lift, etc.).
A local system
The internationally patented system is designed and manufactured in France, a guarantee of reliability. Thanks to the mastery of cutting-edge equipment and the skills of our employees and suppliers, Grad® is capable of producing pedestals, clips, and other injected accessories, painting and pre-assembling detachable clips on rails. These latter being manufactured in the European Union.
