Technical specifications

The Aluminium skirting allows for an aesthetic and durable peripheral finish for decks. Positioned at the edge, it covers the structure while ensuring perfect visual continuity with the decking.

Made of technical aluminum, it offers excellent mechanical resistance and great durability against outdoor conditions. Its heat treatment and finish quality guarantee optimal performance over time, without deformation or alteration.

Available in several heights (100 mm and 150 mm), it adapts to different board thicknesses and installation configurations. It can be fixed directly onto aluminum rails or Top Cubes, with integrated jointing solutions for clean and precise implementation.

It also allows for managing site constraints, such as under-deck ventilation (air gap) or adaptation to the terrain via partial burial.

Instructions for use

To install the aluminum strips on the sides of the deck, start by positioning the pre-cut strips, especially for creating corners.

Then locate the center of the Top Cube, mark this point with a marker, and pre-drill the strip to Ø5 mm. The drilling must be aligned with the central housing present on the upper face of the Top Cube. Then fix the assembly using a 4.8 × 38 mm stainless steel screw.

In the case of a butt joint, each strip must have its own fastening. The installation principle remains identical, but the screws must be inserted into the lateral housings located on each side of the central housing.

For installing aluminum strips on the front of a deck, for a simple installation, start by locating the middle of the rail. Then mark the strip at the central groove, and pre-drill to Ø5 mm.

This operation allows the strip to be fixed using an M5 × 12 mm TF metal screw, directly housed in the central groove of the rail.

In the case of a butt joint, each end of the strip must be fixed separately. The fastenings must then be made with 4.8 × 38 mm stainless steel screws, positioned in the lateral grooves located on each side of the central groove of the rail.
