Technical specifications

The porcelain stoneware trim is a finishing solution specially designed for slab terraces. Composed of an upper rail and a lower rail, it effectively holds and dresses the edges while ensuring perfect integration with the installation system.

The upper rail ensures the retention of the slabs in the upper part, without compromising their installation, while the lower rail structures the assembly and guarantees a solid fastening to the support (concrete slab or Top Cube). This double structure allows for a clean, stable, and durable finish.

Instructions for use

For a porcelain stoneware finish, installation begins with the lower rail.

The rails must first be cut to the desired dimensions to ensure clean and precise corner finishes. The lower rail is then fixed to the ground with a nail anchor, then held on the Top Cube using a 4.8 × 38 mm screw.

Once this first step is completed, the porcelain stoneware finishing pieces can be positioned. The upper rail then finalizes the installation and ensures the retention of the assembly.

To install the upper finishing rail for porcelain stoneware on the sides of the terrace, start by placing the pre-cut trims, especially for creating corners.

Then locate the center of the Top Cube, mark this point with a marker, then pre-drill the upper rail to Ø5 mm. The drilling must be aligned with the central housing on the upper face of the Top Cube. Then fix the assembly using a 4.8 × 38 mm stainless steel screw.

In the case of an abutment, each finishing trim must have its own fastening. The installation principle remains identical, but the screws must be inserted into the lateral housings located on each side of the central housing.

For a stoneware skirting rails installation, on the terrace facade, during a simple installation, start by locating the middle of the rail. Then mark the finishing rail at the first groove, then pre-drill to Ø5 mm.

This operation allows the finishing rail to be fixed using a TF M5 × 12 mm machine screw, directly housed in the central groove of the rail.

In the case of an abutment, each end of the finishing rail must be fixed separately. The fastenings must then be made with 4.8 × 38 mm stainless steel screws, positioned in the lateral grooves located on each side of the central groove of the rail.
