The villa’s architecture reflects a desire for continuity between the interior and exterior. Large bay windows and the U-shape of the structure maximize natural light while offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wooded garden. The primary objective was to create a home that would blend into its natural environment rather than stand out.
The choice of MOSO® bamboo for the exterior cladding played a central role in this integration. Its rich texture and warm tones echo the colors of the surrounding vegetation, allowing the villa to blend harmoniously into the landscape. This material also provides a contemporary look, reinforcing the clean lines of the architecture while evoking the surrounding nature.
Grad® system: A technical installation for a clean aesthetic
To ensure precise installation of the cladding, the Grad® system was selected. This innovative fixing system allows for quick and, above all, invisible installation, avoiding visible screws and ensuring an impeccable aesthetic.
The aluminum rails, pre-equipped with clips, were fixed directly to the villa’s structure, facilitating the installation of the boards while ensuring their perfect alignment and long-term stability. This process also allows for better facade ventilation, thus contributing to the material’s durability.
Conclusion
This project embodies a successful fusion of architectural modernity and natural integration. The MOSO® bamboo cladding, thanks to the Grad® fixing system, ensures a clean and durable aesthetic, in perfect harmony with the forest environment. The villa, which blends into its natural setting, reflects an approach to architecture where every detail is designed to strengthen the link between humans and nature.
