Thermopine: the rustic charm of Nordic pine enhanced by heat

Thermopine stands out with its warm golden-brown hue and characteristic darker knots, a visual signature of Nordic Scots pine after thermal modification. Sourced from Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) from sustainably managed forests, this intense thermal treatment at 215 °C, using steam and no chemicals, profoundly transforms its molecular structure to give it Class 2 biological durability and exceptional dimensional stability, rivalling noble species while retaining the rustic and warm character inherent to pine.

Thermofrêne: the noble grain of ash enhanced by heat

Thermofrêne is distinguished by its rich dark brown hue and its pronounced and elegant grain, a visual signature of European ash after thermal modification. Sourced from ash from sustainably managed forests, this intense thermal treatment with steam and no chemicals profoundly transforms its molecular structure to give it durability comparable to exotic hardwoods and exceptional dimensional stability, making this dense and veined hardwood a premium ecological alternative to ipe or teak.
