La rencontre parfaite entre design, technologie et nature
An ambitious renovation
In 2020, the structure underwent a complete renovation of its decking to meet contemporary requirements for durability, safety and user comfort. The existing wooden decking was replaced by new, higher-performance decking capable of supporting very high traffic from pedestrians, cyclists and users with reduced mobility, as well as occasional access by maintenance vehicles.
The Grad® solution chosen
For this project, the Grad® solution was chosen for the installation of the MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® decking over an area of 340 m², with PR56 profiles adapted to the technical constraints of the site.
The Grad® invisible fixing system allowed for quick, precise and aesthetic installation, while ensuring a stable and durable structure over time, capable of withstanding the high daily stresses of the bridge.
High-performance and safe decking
The choice of MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® combined with the Grad® system offers durable, stable and ecological decking, while providing superior visual quality compared to classic woods. An integrated anti-slip strip on some boards also increases safety for all users, especially in wet weather.
Successful integration into the urban space
Thanks to this renovation, the Miró Bridge retains its primary function as a friendly and accessible link, while benefiting from modern, durable decking that is visually consistent with its urban environment. This project illustrates the Grad® system’s ability to meet demanding technical requirements in highly frequented public contexts.
